New Delhi Conference Explores Aging in Asia
Mar. 14 -- The portion of India’s population age 65 or older will more than triple between 2000 and 2050 – part of a broader aging trend occurring rapidly throughout Asia that will raise many policy questions for the region’s governments. A conference in New Delhi, convened by five science academies from India, China, Indonesia, Japan, and the U.S., will explore new research on the aging trend.
